Mr. Demetree’ career has encompassed both operating and investment management responsibilities across multiple industries. Prior to co-founding Value Plus Ventures,,an investment firm focusing on early stage companies, in December 2007, Chris spentapproximately 2 years with Recordant, Inc. an Alpharetta, Ga. based start up. Hejoined Recordant as part of the initial management team where he served as the ChiefOperating Officer charged with identifying, establishing, implementing and managingthe relationships with Recordant’s corporate business partners. Additionally, he andthe CEO successfully secured over $12 Million in venture capital, and he assisted inestablishing corporate strategy as the organization grew from 4 to 30 employees in 18months.

In 2003, he founded AGS, a private equities and consulting company focused onearly stage investment opportunities. Through AGS, Mr. Demetree was active with 3companies focused in both private and government markets.
Prior to founding AGS, Demetree help transform Intelligenxia, Inc., an advancedanalytical software company, from an early stage start-up to a revenue-generatingindustry player. Within the first few months of Demetree’s tenure as president and CEO,Intelligenxia generated its initial revenues, developed distribution partner channels andraised significant working capital. Demetree also co-founded Urban Media, Inc., a SiliconValley-based telecommunications company with primary engineering and operations inAtlanta.
Throughout his career, Demetree has remained active with Demetree Brothers Inc.,a real estate and investment company, effectively using his previous experience incommercial development.
Demetree is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned adegree in industrial management. He is married with three children.
