After its creation in 2002, TI:GER® was funded principally by a five-year grant from the National Science Foundation.
Given the sunset of this grant at the end of 2007, Georgia Tech is actively seeking other funding sources to not only sustain, but also grow this highly innovative program.
In order to ensure that future innovators receive the entrepreneurial training they need to succeed in the marketplace of today and tomorrow, Georgia Tech is dedicated to expanding the program beyond its current enrollment of approximately 60 students per year.
Key contributors to TI:GER include the Alan and Mildred Peterson Foundation, Warren Batts, Richard and Donna Crutchfield, and the Hal and John Smith Chair in Entrepreneurship.
