Eligibility | Application Package | 2008 Timeline

Eligibility
PhD candidates entering their third year of studies with at least two years remaining before completing their PhD program are preferred. Admission to the program will be based on a combination of the student's academic accomplishments and record as well as a desire to pursue a career in commercializing technology driven innovation and inventions.Student

Participating Graduate programs include: the school of Chemistry and Biochemistry, the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering, the school of Biology, the school of Mechanical Engineering, the Manufacturing Research Center, the school of Industrial & Systems Engineering, the school of Physics and the College of Sciences, the College of Computing, the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Microelectronics Research Center.

• Two letters of recommendation: one from the applicant's academic advisor and one from another professor

• Research Project Overview and Statement addressing how the applicant believes that participation in TI:GER® will advance his/her career goals (two to three pages)
